The entire process by which products are obtained
from suppliers, examined and tested and then identified on a qualified
products list. The qualification process includes an evaluation of the
manufacturer's facilities and capabilities to meet requirements on a continuing

Qualified Product
|
A product produced under controlled and substantially
unchanged conditions which met the requirements and procedures specified
to enable that product to be listed in the applicable qualified products

Qualified Products List (QPL)
|
A listing of products qualified as conforming
to the requirements of standards or specifications by the appropriate panel.
A QPL identifies the qualifying authority and includes the appropriate
product identification and reference data together with the name of the

Qualifying Authority
|
The agency or organization responsible for the
maintenance of a listing program, including the development and implementation
of policies and procedures, and which is responsible for the accuracy and
